Whether it’s for Valentine’s Day, or any day, show the colors of your love for your little one with this heart-covered hat. This was originally designed for my daughter using up some remaining bits of yarn, making it an ideal canvas for your own unique color combinations. Choose colors with enough contrast to make the hearts pop for bold cuteness, or softer colors for a more subtle result.

Pattern is written with a chart for the colorwork.

This hat was designed for my 3yo, with room to grow (and also fits my 7yo nicely). It has a bit of slouch at the top as a result. Modifications are provided to size down for a younger child.

I used Wonderland Yarns March Hare which comes in full skeins or delightful mini-skein sets. I have also made this same style hat with other Superwash worsted yarns. I have listed a few of my favorites as suggested yarns.
