The yarn for these socks is specially dyed so the colors will zigzag or slowly spiral around as the sock is knit. The pattern is written for two gauges. Use 7 stitches per inch and needles #1-2 with sport wt yarn, and 8 st/in and needles #0-1 with fingering wt yarn.

There is enough yarn in one hank of Sara’s Colorwave yarn to make a pair of adult medium socks with a full cuff, but I prefer to go cuffless in the summer. A short length of 1/4 inch elastic at the ankle keeps the sock from sliding down into your shoe.
