Colour Burst Flower Blanket
I had lots of part-used balls of acrylic (who doesn’t?) and I always end up buying more to finish a project, but this time was going to be different! designed this square with a pretty flower motif in the centre which is the perfect stash busting project!
Most of the squares have a different colour combination using 5 colours but I ensured the colours worked well together for each square. I chose cream as my base colour as I felt a neutral colour worked best with all the other colours.
But if you want to stick to a particular colour theme, then this will look equally pretty. The main thing is, have fun along the way! Please tag me @chromacrochet on Facebook / Instagram with your finished work. I’d love to see your creation!
Requirements:
4mm hook
Acrylic DK or any DK would work. Hook size can vary depending on how you like to crochet and gauge / tension isn’t important but my squares are approximately 18cm square up to Round 11.
This is a completely versatile pattern. It is essentially a pattern for a square that I have made into a lap blanket. You can use this square for any project but I felt is suited a blanket.
