This is a simple basketweave cowl which uses up all of the yarn in your skein. Weigh the yarn using a kitchen scale before you begin. Then after casting on and knitting the first few rows, weigh again. The difference is the amount of yarn that you will need to finish off the cowl. Knit until you have that much yarn left. No waste!
