Coloured Pencils and Paper
Coloured Pencil Socks – a playful and colourful design inspired by my mother-in-law, who is a retired teacher. These socks are the perfect way to pay homage to her profession while creating a unique and fun accessory for the whole family.
The Coloured Pencil Socks are knit from the toe-up, and feature a German short-row heel for a comfortable and snug fit. The design includes stripes to mimic the look of coloured pencils, making them a fun and whimsical addition to any wardrobe.
I wanted to knit them for the whole family. So I decided to knit some coloured pencils and a sheet of filler paper as well. I hope you enjoy knitting these multi-coloured socks as much as I did.
The pattern comes in three sizes, so you can knit them for kids and adults alike.
The Coloured Pencil Socks pattern is perfect for intermediate knitters who are looking for a fun and challenging project. The pattern includes detailed instructions and helpful tips to guide you through the process.
Whether you’re a teacher, artist, or simply love playful and colourful designs, the Coloured Pencil Socks are sure to become a favourite in your sock collection. Knit them for yourself or as a gift for a loved one, and bring some fun and creativity into your everyday wear

Each sock (except the paper) uses approximately 5 grams of yarn each for the wood part, aluminum part, and eraser part. The pencil uses 5 grams of black for the lead, while the coloured pencils use the body colour for the cast on.
Paper Sock uses 40 grams of white, 10 grams of blue, and 3 grams of pink for the margin.
