The Colourfolds Scarve is a luxurious wrap, which is worn as a scarf. The knitted accesory measures 33x180cm.

The scarf is knitted with two colours using the plating unit. The plating unit separates the yarns on the needles, so the knit side has a different colour than the purl side. The combination of the two colours work well in the vertical lines of the design. There’s one main colour, and the colour blocks show up by switching the shadow colour.

The instructions are written for standard gauge machines
(Brother with ribber KR850, Silver Reed, Empisal, Singer, Studio, Knitmaster, Artisan, Creative) with a plating feeder for the ribber. (Passap cannot do plating)

There are two variations in this design, a light version and a dark version. Each variation uses 6 colours (1 main colour and 5 shadow colours); the exact amount of yarn needed is indicated in the pattern.

De colourfolds sjaal is een ruime luxe sjaal, die je draagt als een das. De gebreide sjaal meet 33x180cm.

De sjaal wordt gebreid met twee kleuren met behulp van het plateeroog. Het plateeroog stuurt de draden zodanig naar de naalden, dat de rechtse steken een andere kleur hebben dan de linkse steken. De combinatie van de twee kleuren geeft de mooie verticale belijning aan het ontwerp. Er is één hoofdkleur, en de kleurvlakken ontstaan door het wisselen van de schaduwkleur.

De beschrijving gaat uit van een standaardbreier van het Japanse type (Brother met voorbed KR850, Silver Reed, Empisal, Singer, Studio, Knitmaster, Artisan, Creative) met een dubbelbeds plateeroog. (Passap heeft helaas geen mogelijkheid tot plateren)

Er zijn 2 kleurvarianten, een lichte en een donkere. Elke variant gebruikt 6 kleuren: 1 hoofdkleur en 5 schaduwkleuren. Voor elke variant wordt de exacte hoeveelheid benodigde garens aangegeven in het patroon.

Breimachine
