Colourful Games Console Cushion
Hi there!
Thanks so much for clicking on this pattern. Please enjoy this fun nostalgic cushion!
This pattern includes the pixel graph charts I created on Stitchfiddle. There are also written instructions for those who would like that as well but feel free to skip to the graph chart if you are comfortable doing so.
There is a detailed explanation of how to use a graph chart inside the pattern if you are not familiar.
This pattern is worked in rows and consists of two flat rectangular pieces which are then seamed together.
To complete this piece you need to be comfortable working in rows and changing colour throughout.
The yarn I used in for this cushion is Stylecraft Special DK using the colours: Lavender for the main console colour, Sherbet for the ‘screen’ part and Candyfloss for the ‘game cartridge’. I used a different brand yarn for the black but it was the same weight. Stylecraft Special DK have a black yarn you could use.
The amount of each colour yarn used is:
Lavender: 218 yards
Sherbet: 27 yards
Candyfloss: 21.39 yards
Black: 37.9 yards.
The size of the finished cushion is approx 34cm (height) x 22cm (width).
