Colours of Norway Hat
New
Now also in Danish, with many thanks to Marianne Holmen, who did the translation.
Description
A hat inspired by the colours of Norwegian nature, with both floral and Celtic(-ish) patterns.
This hat is an ideal project for finishing up leftovers, so use your imagination and choose your own colours! The chart is also well suited for knitting with just two shades.
The hat is knit in the round and uses only two coulours in the same row.
Size
The hat comes in one size. Should you like to knit a different size, please use smaller or larger needles.
Brim & body of showed sample (blocked but still stretchy): 53 cm. Height: 22.5 cm.
If you’d like to have more control over the height of the hat, start with a provisional cast on and knit the brim when the rest of the hat is finished. Shorten or lengthen the brim as you please.
Sample was knitted on a 3mm needle and is shown on a head with 58 cm in circumference.
