The colorwork design on this hat is inspired by the flow of the mighty Columbia River as it rushes to pour into the Pacific Ocean.
The bold, geometric pattern on this hat is worked using only one color on any given round and instructions are included for both a slouchy hat and a beanie shape.
This pattern is a great introduction to colorwork without the hassle of carrying two strands of yarn at once.
The hat is truly unisex and can be made with or without the pom pom.
What a great way to use up stash and leftover yarn from other projects!
Construction is bottom up, seamless, and worked in the round.
The instructions are both charted and written and the pattern has been professionally tech edited and tested.
