Additionally there is a Columbine Leaf which is a CHART ONLY, not a written pattern or photo tutorial. It is suitable for the experienced crocheter who is familiar with using padding cord and can comfortably work from a chart.
The flower pattern is a photo tutorial. The high resolution photos can be zoomed to 1000% so you can see the finest detail! You will need a PDF reader such as Adobe Reader or PDF-XChange to view the files.
Size 10 thread & 1.75mm hook will make a flower about 2.5” diameter. Size 20 & 1.5mm hook ~2.0” diameter. Size 30 thread & 1.25mm hook ~1.5” diameter. You will also need fabric glue for the center of the stamens.
Gauge:
Not essential, for best results use medium tension unless otherwise stated.
I make these flowers in a single color, usually white, and dye them. Step-by-step instructions for dyeing are NOT included in the patterns. A resource where you can purchase supplies and get information on the process is included at the end of the pattern. Or you can get a similar effect simply by changing colors, when to make those changes is mentioned on the first page of each pattern.
As a bonus with this purchase you can also receive Versions One & Two of my Columbine Flower which are quicker and suitable for an intermediate crocheter. Add both to your cart, the Realistic Columbine Flower pattern will be discounted $2.50 making it free.
