Columella
The winding cables of these fingerless mitts echo a columella, the central coil of a spiral snail shell. They’re knit from the knuckles down with lots and lots (and lots!) of cables, for a huge dose of texture and a comfortable, stretchy fit. The cabling is reversed between the left and right mitts for a neat, mirrored look.
This pattern includes two PDFs: a long version with full-color photography, and an alternate “lite” two-page PDF with a compact layout for printing at home.
