Column Cowl
This is a fairly straight forward pattern using, double crochet and chain sts to create this simple but elegant design.
While gauge isn’t Critical to get the dimensions that mine was which is 18” tall by 27” wide approximately then you need to get 1 shell=1”
and one shell row measuring shell from top to bottom =1”
I used Red Heart Super Saver Ombre in Spearmint and used
12 ounces or 325 grams using a J hook/6.00mm hook
I suggest if you are going to use your favorite hook larger or smaller I suggest buying a 2nd skein Keep your eyes on my stores more patterns going up soon! My daughter has convinced me to make this same pattern in sport/dk/#3 weight.
The pattern uses groups of 8 stitches so you can add or subtract 8 to get the size you want.
