I used Patons Impressions hand-dyed wool (1x100g skein). It is a single ply worsted weight (varied between worsted and sport in thickness), 50g / 1.75oz and 140m / 153y. Unfortunately, it is discontinued. Any worsted weight would be suitable. The mitts are knit at a tighter gauge for warmth.

Errata: Cast on 48 stitches (not 38).
