Crochet pattern for a beanie hat and buttoned cowl designed by me. This hat and cowl set features beautiful and unusual texture achieved by a combination of backpost, frontpost, and puff stitches. This pattern uses US crochet terms.

Size: Hat fits average adult head (20-22 inches) Cowl measures 5.5 inches wide x 29 inches long You could also make the cowl into a full length scarf if you chose; howsever you would need about twice the amount of yarn to do so.

Materials: DK or light worsted weight yarn and size H (5.00mm) crochet hook. I recommend a soft and slightly stretchy yarn.

Gauge: 17 sts x 10 rows = 4’’ worked in third loop hdc
