Columns & Levels Scarf
After working this design it reminded me of an old video game my son and I would play together. The graphic had buildings with tall columns with different levels . Seeing the way this hand painted yarn “stacks”, the colors brought back fond memories of how my columns would line up as the music beat faster & faster. Compared to my son’s innate ability, this is why I am more successful at knit columns! Pattern written for an aran to chunky yarn, it is great with handpainted yarns. Pattern also looks great in a solid.
Uses size 9 straight needles. Starla prefers a straight needle for a long scarf. It keeps the yarns from tangling in the circular cord. However, if you prefer a circular, a 20 or 24″ cord will be sufficient. Pattern written for Sweet Feet 2, an exclusive yarn to Crafty Hands Shop dyed by Tracey Schuh at Interlacements Yarns.
Sweet Feet 2 is a big sister to the original Sweet Feet and is an aran to chunky weight. Scarf uses 400 yards. A bonus slip stitch cowl pattern is included with the pattern. One skein of Sweet Feet 2 will make 2 cowls. Available in SOS-(Turquoise,yellow and lime green) , Double S – (Red, Yellow & Green) & Telemark-As shown on Rocky the Australian Shepherd , call or email for availability. Sweet Feet 2 is 63% Merino Superwash Wool, 18.5% Tussah Silk, & 18.5 Merino Wool.
A bonus slipped stitch Birthday cowl revision is also included.
