This is a pattern for an aran weight lace shawl. The design is assymetric in the form of a teardrop and includes the use of shortrows to achieve this.

The yarn chosen for develpment has been listed in this pattern entry, but any aran yarn would make a good substitute. The fibre chosen was 100% wool, no other fibres have been tested at the time of publishing.

My model assured me it was lightweight, soft and cosy.
