Come in from the cold and snuggle up in these cozy socks! Inspired by tracks in the snow, a unique X-stitch forms a beautiful detail in a panel that runs down the outside edge of the leg and foot of each sock. (Photo tutorial for the X-stitch in the pattern.) Detailing is “neutral” enough to be unisex. Sizes small, medium and large. Magic Loop method instructions, but easily adaptable for knitting using DPNS. Easy to knit, comfy to wear. Model socks were knit in a light fingering/ 4 ply yarn, but similar result/gauge can be achieved using “regular” fingering/ 4 ply. A one-skein wonder, these were designed with that special gently speckled hand dyed yarn in mind, but are equally pleasing in solid colors or tonal/semi-solids.
