I originally designed this tiny crocheted comfort or kindness bear after 9/11 in 2001. I have totally updated the pattern and welcome people to crochet wee bears to give to their favorite charities or to people who need solace.
The finished size of the yarn you use is determined by the size of hook and thickness of yarn that you choose.
Hand spun yarns are great for the bears. It only takes a very small amount of yarn.
