This is a piece that I designed for a friend of mine who is undergoing treatment for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Each pattern stitch has been well thought out and planned, and has a specific symbolic meaning. When I presented her with this shawl I also included a heartfelt letter explaining the colors and stitches. I have included a copy of this letter for your use if you’d like. Both of the shawls pictured have the same lace border, but slightly different depending on your taste. One is more of a ruffle. The other is more of a flat lace. The instructions for both are included in this pattern.

Pattern uses approximately 1.5 skeins of Lion Brand Pound of Love.
