Comfy Ribbed Headband
With this knitting pattern you can make yourself a warm and comfy ribbed headband. You can choose different styles, with or without a cross strap.
Size
This headband is adjustable to all sizes, but if you make it according to this pattern it wil fit an adult with a head circumference of 56-58 cm / 22-22.5 inch.
Skill level
Easy: if you can knit and purl, you can do this. You can choose whether you would like to knit in the round or in rows back and forth. The pattern contains instructions for both!
Yarn
I used about 60 g of Katia Maxi Merino. It is a bulky and fluffy wool blend that keeps your ears warm. I really like this yarn, but the pattern is easily adjustable for different yarn. I do recommend a wool (blend) yarn to keep you warm.
Set
If you like a set, you might want to check out the ribbed scarf and cowl scarf patterns. They match perfectly to this headband!
Free Gift Labels
In case you want to make this headband as a gift, Home of Yarns also has a gift for you! You get free printable gift labels and wraps to make your gift look even more awesome.
Languages
This pattern is available in 4 languages: UK English, USA English, German (Deutsch) and Dutch (Nederlands)!
Color blind friendly
I made an effort to make all of the Home of Yarns patterns color blind friendly, with dark text on a white background and if a chart is included, it is always in addition to written out instructions. For the charts, I use symbols in either black and white or other highly contrasting color combinations. I am quite positive that I did a good job, but I am no expert on color blindness. If you need any assistance reading the pattern, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me and I will be happy to help you out.
