This slipper is knitted with double strand of lion brand wool ease yarn and the base of the slipper is seamed after few garter stitch rows are made.

2 years ago, Gloria (my sister in law) showed me one little knitted slipper and she wondered if I could knit something like that because Mike(my bro in law)’s grandma used to knit all his siblings a pair of these slippers when she was still alive. Gloria and Mike think the family will be thrilled again to have a pair of this comfy slippers for Christmas!

So I came up with this design and it looks 98% similar to the slipper that Mike’s grandma made. I made 4 pairs for Mike’s family and I am very very happy to know that they allll were SHOCKED n excited to see those slippers again after so many years.

Hubby loves this and he has his own pair that I just made for him weeks ago. I think, I need to knit a pair for myself too! The weather is getting colder~~

  • If you are using heavy worsted weight yarn, then you should knit a size smaller *
