Pattern Description from Faith, Hope, Love, Knitting: “When I first started selling slippers, I designed a very basic pattern to knit them. Today the slippers can be purchased finished or as kits consisting of suede soles, yarn, and my original patten. Since Lori’s business has expanded to include suede products in many pretty colors, i decided to feature on of those colors in my design. I developed the slipper pattern into something a bit more stylish too.”

Skill Level: Intermediate

Size: sizes to fit eleven sizes from babies to adults

Gauge: 16 sts and 20 rnds= 4 inch in Slipped Stitch Pattern

Notes:

  • Keep CC flats very loose so that the stitches do not pucker or distort.

  • Leg portion is worked in the round. Because the slipper soles have a wonderful cushioned fleece lining, to only the top of the skipper foot (instep) is knitted. After heel turn and gussets are completed, slipper top is worked back and forth to toe.

  • The slippers are written in eleven sizes, to match the eleven sizes produced by Somerset Designs. Measure the favored foot from heel to toe to determine the proper size in inches.
