Comhar (pronounced “core”) - this Irish word evokes the general notion of co-operation and shared work.

The cables and lace cooperate in this design to provide beauty, elasticity, and durability.

Comhar is a toe-up, magic loop pattern for a summer weight sock with sideways gusset and slip stitch faux heel flap. Sample shown is ankle height, but the sock is easily lengthened by adding pattern repeats. Only one stitch count is provided, but the elasticity of the pattern allows for foot circumferences from 6.75-9” by altering length.

Many thanks to Ravelry members jacintae, firemaplegirl, Fan-Of-Steele, Wolflovertoo, and missblane for their help in test-knitting this pattern!
