I designed Coming Home for our newest granddaughter, Elliet. Because she was an early summer baby, I knew that the blanket needed to be light and lacy.

The center panel is easily memorized and is worked first, then stitches are picked up around the edge, knitted in stockinette and bound off with a picot bind off.

The cable and lace panel are perfect and work beautifully with the stockinette and picot edging. It’s the perfect thing for a beautiful little one to come home in!
