Commitment Issues
I am always impressed by those who has made a mitered square blanket out of fingering weight yarn. Tiny squares, knit on small needles, row after row… after row of them. I love the look of the mitered square, their knitted geometry appeals to me greatly. I wistfully think of making my own blanket, but I know that I would start one, only to drift away from it, unable to finish.
This pattern is my way of getting what I want out of a mitered square without having to commit to a blanket. I knit this on larger needles so the squares drape nicely and the cowl has a super squishy feel. The pattern is written for a double loop cowl, or a single loop, just in case commitment issues set in a little early.
