Communication Mitts
Overwhelm is something most of us experience from time to time.
For some of us it takes much longer to process overwhelm than others.
Often I need to withdraw for a few hours to a solitary silent nonverbal retreat from speaking aloud to just ‘be’ and ‘do’ without the often heavy effort and burden of sporadically conversing.

You can see how conveying this need to my partner when it arises may be problematic, ‘eh?
Enter ‘Communication Mitts.’
For anyone who would simply like to let those surrounding you know when you are feeling charged, stable, or low battery.
This is the first of several patterns that I plan to release on this topic of mental health communication tools.
For future ones to appear in your ‘Your Pattern Highlights’ feed, favorite my Designer page.
This pattern design in US knit terms may not be distributed or sold as your own, but feel free to sell a finished item made from it.
