In the summer of 2010 the Knit Night ladies at Lettuce Knit knit this blanket for a friend of ours who was having a baby. It is unusual in its construction as it requires 4 knitters to knit on it at one time. It is perfect for groups because once the blanket is set up knitter’s of all skill levels can participate in the project.
Whether it is a new baby on the way, or someone experiencing a hard time, a knitted blanket is a great way to show support to a community member. This ingenious method means that the blanket is literally knit communally, four knitters at a time! Perfect for knitters of all skill levels, this is an easy project packs a visual punch and will soon become a favourite of your group.
