The Community Garden Cowl is a fun experiment in mixing colors and textures to create alternating woven stripes with rows of sweet textured flowers. This design is created in collaboration with A Woolen Affair, Indie Untangled, and Cakepalooza. NYS corriedale wool is spun by Battenkill Fibers and Dyed by Cake Wool Co.

Finished Measurements:
Tube Before folding: 30 in/76 cm X 10 in/25.5 cm.
Cowl After Folding: 15 in/38 cm wide X 10 in /25.5 cm.

Yarn: Corrie Crossing (100% NY Corriedale) or any Sport weight yarn 100g/328 yards.
Color 1: Rose Campion: 1 skein (or approx 220 y/203 m.
Color 2: Yarrow: 1 skein (or approx 200 y/185 m)
Color 3: Marigold: 1 skein (or approx 250 y/231 m)

Needles:
3.5 mm/US 4 circular needle , 60-80 cm/16-20 in length or size needed to obtain the correct gauge. Plus an additional circular needle for grafting.

Notions:
1 stitch marker for BOR, tapestry needle. Waste yarn for provisional cast on.

Gauge: 26 sts x 38 rounds = 10 cm/4 inches over Garden Weave pattern on 3.5 mm/US 4 needles after blocking.
