Stay cozy on your morning commute or during wintry walks with this chunky cowl. The pattern gives you two options - a small cowl or a larger version which can be worn squashed down, folded over, or pulled up over the head and worn as a hood. The pattern includes instructions for a drawstring, and a 3-page detailed i-cord supplement page will be delivered along with your pattern, in case i-cord techniques are new to you, or you could use a little review. The two-row repeat that makes up the stitch pattern for the body of the cowl is easily memorized, making this a fantastic on-the-go project!

This project can be successfully completed by any adventurous beginner who is open to learning a couple new tricks. Techniques used for the cowl are knitting, purling, yarn-overs, and the techniques explained in detail (with written instructions and video links) in the i-cord supplement - making an i-cord, working an i-cord bind-off, and working an applied i-cord edge.
