Compact fluorescent light bulb
This pattern is
available for free.
Free online pattern to make a compact fluorescent light bulb (CFL bulb), roughly life sized. Uses a small amount of white and gray worsted-weight yarn, two 12-inch pipe cleaners, and a little fiberfill or other stuffing. Pebbles or glass beads can be used to stuff the bottom to get the bulb to stand on its own.
Uses only single crochet and its increase and decrease (also uses magic ring to start but that could be substituted), but requires working in very small diameter rounds for a long time for the top of the bulb.
