A string market bag that folds into itself for easy storage and carrying.

The string bag design gives it stretch and strength to hold many items from heavy to light.

A great way to reduce the amount of plastic or paper bags that are gathered when shopping.

The finished bag is about 10 cm across and approx. 4 cm wide when stuffed into a ball, and about 26 cm long when open and the handles are about 10 cm long.

Gauge is not important for this project. The bag can usually be made from one 50g ball of cotton.
