Compass Rose
Compass Rose is a slouchy feminine beanie worked bottom up, and features an interesting and surprisingly easy twisted stitch. The ribbed band is knitted flat and seamed invisibly; then stitches are picked up to form the body. The stitch pattern is easy to memorize and works up quickly. The crown is shaped using rapid symmetrical decreases.
Compass Rose is suitable for intermediate knitters or adventurous beginners. Requires familiarity with knitting in the round and working slipped stitches.
