Compass Rose Pullover
Let the Compass Rose Pullover guide you on your next weekend retreat. This modern colorwork pullover with a geometric design is as eye-catching as it is enjoyable to knit. The raglan-style pullover is worked in pieces from the bottom up and seamed.
Difficulty Intermediate
Finished Size 32 (35.5, 39.5, 43, 47, 50.5)“ bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 35.5”; modeled with 1.5” of positive ease.
Yarn Quince & Co. Chickadee (100% American wool; 181 yd/1.75 oz): #109 peacock (MC), 6 (7, 8, 9, 10, 11) skeins; #177 canvas (CC), 3 (3, 3, 3, 4, 4) skeins.
Needles Sizes 4 (3.5 mm) and 5 (3.75 mm): straight. Size 4 (3.5 mm): 16” circular. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers; stitch holders; tapestry needle.
Gauge 25 sts and 31 rows = 4” in St st on larger needles; 26 sts and 31 rows = 4” in charted patt on larger needles.
Notes This pullover is worked back and forth from the bottom up in separate pieces and seamed.
