Compassion Poncho
As two grandmothers sharing our journey of deep love and compassion for our children and grandchildren, this pattern was formed and born.
The need to wrap each other in deep aroha (love) and compassion was obvious as we journeyed through a road of pain, never far from each other’s story, while different, but the pain so honestly real and known for each other.
The need to find a wrap that encompasses compassion, love, healing and friendship and joy was essential in the journey – this is it!
Level of Expertise – Beginner/Intermediate
Using 10ply yarn this pattern is beautiful and squishy but also a quick knit. The drape is lovely covering all those bits we want to cover but also making it warm and snugly. It can easily be made shorter by not knitting it as long.
Such an easy pattern to remember, you will love knitting this pattern.
