I often see new stitches (typically in a gorgeous shawl) and I am hesitant to commit to purchasing a ton of yarn before I know if I like knitting the stitch or not SOOOO I decided to design a CompliMITT (fingerless glove that would feature a pattern section for me to try a stitch). That and the fact that Frivolous Fibers had this most luscious yarn (baby alpaca/silk/merino) fresh out of the dye pot had me whip up these fingerless mitts. One skein was all that was needed! This is worsted weight yarn but knit on smaller needles (size 4s) to keep nice and stretchy.
