Concentric Squares Blanket
The Concentric Squares Blanket Pattern is a geometric design of multiple squares radiating from the centre, each one bigger than the next, creating the optical illusion of a 3-D pyramid shape.
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate/Advanced
SUGGESTED MATERIALS: 9 balls of Alize Puffy yarn (3.53oz, 100g) (Image shown is the colour ‘485’). -OR- 5 BALLS OF BERNAT ALIZE BLANKET-EZ YARN, ANY COLOUR
SUGGESTED TOOLS: No needles required (finger knitting). Scissors.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 42” x 42” (107cm x 107 cm).
PLEASE NOTE: This pattern will work with any brand of loop yarn, but keep in mind that the size of the loops, and size of the balls/skeins of each brand is different.
Bernat Alize Blanket-EZ can be substituted and the blanket will be the same size, but you will need fewer skeins of yarn. Lion Brand Off-The-Hook, Lion Brand Crayola Off-The-Hook, and Red Heart Loop-It yarns can all be used with this pattern, but will yield a blanket with smaller overall dimensions. You will also need more balls/skeins to complete the pattern as is.
