Knit in the round from wrist to fingers, these elegant fingerless mitts are perfect for events in chilly venues. Their fitted style will keep your hands surprisingly warm. Instructions are given for four sizes, each in four different lengths. The classic lace stitch pattern, sometimes known as feather, fan or shale, creates curving borders naturally as it is being knit and adds a detail reminiscent of pearls.

These little mitts are great to carry with you. Uncomplicated in design, they also make very welcome gifts! Bonus instructions are included for Un-Cookie Swap mitts!

Gauge: On #3 dpn’s, 20 stitches/32 rounds = 4 inches.
Substitute yarns may include Malabrigo Rios, O-WOOL Classic Worsted, Berroco Ultra Alpaca Natural, Brooklyn Tweed Shelter and Cascade 220 Superwash Merino.
