Made from 4ply hand dyed superwash extra fine merino, this lovely garment is next to skin soft.
I have enjoyed designing and making this garment and using this yarn for it very much as it was a pleasure to knit with.
Although this garment could be knitted in any 4 ply weight yarn, this particular garment was knitted in a superfine merino. It could also be knitted successfully in any 4 ply sock yarn containing wool or wool and nylon which would give it more structure but not be as soft.
As is the case with hand dyed yarn, colours sometimes come in varied blocks of colour which can cause colour pooling or striping when knitted which if this is not something that you like, it can be just as easily knitted in bare yarn or a plain coloured yarn.
