Crochet skill level: Easy/intermediate.

After the toddler dress I made, I started experimenting the sideway crocheting, that is combined here with a top down pattern from a certain heigth, under the arms.
It is sewed only in the shoulderparts.

This white execution could be also adapted for feast days, but also like a simple dress for warmer times, maybe better in other colours (?). I used this white thread only because it was a leftover at home.

Of course other esecutions of this dress, also in wool or mixed yarns are possible, but will probably turn out a little big greater in proportion. This cotton white thread I used is a bit fine, after all.
To obtain a similar fine effect I believe the best thing will be a 3ply wool or acrylic yarn.

I only used a really insignificant amount of the orange cotton thread for the upper borders.

From top to bottom this dress measures 43 cm. From side to side -folded- the dress measures 23 cm, under the armholes and 30 cm -folded- from bottomside to bottomside.
