This cute pouch is the perfect place to keep all your bits and pieces handy! Whether you’re looking for a cute handmade pouch to store your makeup and beauty products in or a nifty mini bag to store your knitting and crochet items, this useful pouch is a quick crochet project that also makes a beautifully useful gift.
Measurements: 6”/8”
Gauge: 11 rounds / 11 sts per 4” x 4” tension square in yarn under single crochet.
Yarn & Materials
6mm and 4mm crochet hook, scissors, yarn needle.
NOTE: You will need one ball of each yarn. The yarns are simply alternated for the colour transitions in the pouch.
Yarn one (Y1): Friends Cotton 8/8 in 01 (White) & 63 (Lilac), Candy Pop in 03 (Pastel Rainbow), held triple.
Yarn two (Y2): Friends Cotton 8/8 in 01 (White), 51 (Baby Pink) and Candy Pop in 03 (Pastel Rainbow), held triple.
Note: as stated, this project uses the above yarns held triple. You can substitute the above yarns with any DK-weight cotton and lace-weight novelty yarn with flecks or a chunky yarn working to a similar gauge if you aren’t comfortable working with multiple strands.
