A skein of amazing yarn, a stitch pattern that talks to you…..the combination is simply irresistible. That is the inspiration for this scarf/neck warmer. I played around with a blend using materials that I hadn’t used before. The end result was this incredibly pretty bulky weight yarn. Then I stumbled upon a stitch pattern that talked to me. Put yarn to needle….played around a bit…..and ended up with this truly lovely scarf/neck warmer that is a pleasure to knit and showcases those beautiful bulky yarns to perfection…whether they be commercially spun or spun by you. The stitch pattern is easy to memorize but doesn’t get monotonous since it has a bit of change every now and then. The large needles and bulky weight yarn make this a very quick knit. A couple of evenings and you have a finished scarf/neck warmer to enjoy or to give as a gift. This scarf is very versatile as well. It can be finished and/or worn a number of ways.
