Coniferae, also known as Pinophyta, is the division of plants that include pines, firs, and other evergreens. Last year I had to make seven of these to satisfy my family’s need to adorn their heads with conifers and now, a year later, I can finally look my own pattern in the face and share the joy of gymnosperms.

Difficulty: Easy intermediate. Most knits and purls with left and right twists and one longer cable to top it off.
Materials: I used Colrain in jungle green, which is a 50/50 merino/tencel blend, but most any worsted weight yarn will work.
