Conjunction Cowl
In grammar, a conjunction is a word that joins together sentences. In this cowl, a conjunction is a series of slipped stitches that connects bands of reverse stockinette together, resulting in a warm and cozy neckwarmer.
Designed to be tall, perfect for snuggling in to, this cowl is easily adjustable in height or width and would be an excellent stash-busting, or even scrap-busting, project.
Please note that due to the slipped stitches being “carried up” a number of rows, the row gauge is slightly compressed, resulting in the need for more rows to be knit per inch than may seem typical for a sport weight yarn knit on US6/4.0mm needles.
Finished Size: approximately 14” (35.5 cm) tall, 28” (71 cm) circumference at bottom, and 24” (61 cm) circumference at top
Suggested Yarn: Bijou Basin Ranch Himalayan Trail, shown in Dinna Fash (MC) and Jacobite(CC), 1 skein each, or approximately 200 yds each of two coordinating colorways of sport weight yarn
