The name Connection comes first of all from the cable connection that is worked at the boarder of the shawl, but also Connection between makers that will be knitting this shawl.

The shawl is worked up to be long and narrow and i really think it is such a gender neutral shawl. Anybody could wear it and look fantastic. You will of course give it your own touch with the yarn and color that you choose. You can make this shawl as big or small as you want to, use the needle size that goes best with the yarn that you choose.

For my version of the shawl, i have used almost two skeins of Nordlys yarn, in coulor 911, yardage is 350 meters for 100 grams. This is a varigeted yarn that grades the colours as you knit. I used the first skein for the brioche-part of the shawl and the second skein for the, built on, cable at the edge.
