Connections Cowl
This pattern is
available for free.
Knitted in yarn with a heavy drape - such as a silk/linen blend - this open mesh cowl hangs well, providing some warmth and plenty of style. It is knitted flat with instructions for a simple cast off closure of the loop which disappears into the pattern. This makes it easy to create shorter or longer versions, deciding what length you prefer while in the process of knitting. Add extra stitches in any multiple of three to make it wider.
ETA - I made another in Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk - it took 250m but only weighs 45g and hangs quite differently
