As rich in color as the famous Connemara marble, this wrap wil be a delight to knit: eyelet ribbing at the neck that carries on down the “sleeves”; while the front and back are filled with a wavy-stitch pattern, highlighting the subtle color changes in the worsted weight wool/silk blend used to make this wrap.
The directions are written out round-by-round as well as charted.
The one-size-fits-most wrap (hem circ = 62”; neck-to-hem = 15”) uses approximately 490 yards of worsted yarn. The sample used one skein of Plymouth’s Mushishi 95% wool/5% silk in Green Apple.
• wrap is made from the neck to the hem; knitted completely in the round
• eyelet rib for the four-inch high neck merges into the body pattern (while retaining the eyelet rib on the should line)
• body is shaped with four increases along the shoulder lines every other round as well as an increase within the body-stitch pattern every repeat
