Please be aware this is a pattern for advanced crocheters.
The blanket is made in overlay mosaic technique and can only be crocheted from the center out.
Some of the squares have 4 different sides, which requires extra attention. If you haven’t done any pattern from te center out, I would strongly suggest to check out tutorials for this technique before you start this project.

This pattern was released as a CAL, with weekly updates and ran from the 2nd of January through March 6th. The total pattern file is now included in the purchase. The separate files will be deleted on Monday March 17th.

This pattern for a blanket with squares that connect to each other is made to crochet in overlay mosaic crochet technique and is done from the center out.

The pattern is available in Dutch and English (both included in the purchase).

The total blanket is made with 35 squares, which will result in a nice size blanket of approximately 140 cm x 195 cm (in DK yarn and 4mm hook). The pattern also has options for smaller versions that can be made with the different squares.

You can use any yarn you like for this pattern. The design will remain the same, but the measurements of your final project will change. The yarn usage will also change. With thicker yarn/bigger hook, you’ll need more yarn. With tinner yarn/smaller hook, you’ll use less meters of yarn.

• It differs a bit per pattern, but this is an estimate. Make sure to also calculate some yarn to crochet everything together and add a final border arount the total blanket.

** Size and yarn usage depends on many factors. One of those is your tension (loose/tight). This can differ more than 20% per person. Are you aware you are a loose or tight crocheter? Then keep this in mind!
