The thumb is created with a gusset and stitch reservation rather than an Afterthought Thumb like my previous patterns. Instructions and tutorial video links are provided within the pattern for the Latvian Braid used on the wrist.

These mittens were created with the thought of nature and its complexity, as well as its miracles. Whether or not you consider yourself religious, the blessings of a full harvest, the shift of the seasons, and all that our Earth is able to do are beautiful miracles to be thankful for! During times of worry, I try to consider the raven, and how it is provided for. So, too, are we surrounded by inspiration, care, and love in one way or another.
