Constance
Constance is a relaxed sweater that sits on the hip, with bracelet-length balloon style sleeves and a simple slip-stitch yoke motif. Inspired by the 1930s and 40s; think land girls with a dash of country-house weekend thrown in. She’s perfect for striding across the wild and windy moors or cosying up by the fire with a good book (we recommend All Among the Barley by Melissa Harrison, the inspiration for her name).
We used meadowyarn smeeth | aran - a 100% non-superwash Corriedale wool that has a relaxed twist and 200m to a 100g skein. It knits to a standard aran weight gauge. Any aran weight yarn with a nice bounce and a soft halo would work equally well; Icelandic Léttlopi, for example.
