Constance is designed with short rows in her limbs. If you are not familiar with short rows, there is a great free online class at www.craftsy.com, it really is an easy technique when you know how!

Constance is real baby sized at approximately 22.5 inches from the top of her head to the tip of her toe.

She is worked entirely on straight needles and seamed together using Mattress stitch, Whip stitch and Back stitch. I do not consider her to be a complicated or fiddly project and once she’s made, she is such fun to dress up :)
